New Ford Explorer
- Ford is bringing a new electric SUV to its range to sit below the Mustang Mach-E.
- The Explorer shares a lot of parts under the skin with the Volkswagen ID4.
- It doesn’t look anything like that car though with this Ford getting a much more rugged and aggressive design compared to the curvy ID4.
- This theme continues on the inside where there are only minimal VW parts to be found.
- The Explorer will be available with either a 52kWh or a 77kWh battery and it will have up to 335 miles of range.
- You’ll also be able to get it with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.
New MG Cyberster
- The market isn’t exactly awash with all-electric convertible sports cars but the MG Cyberster is here to change that.
- It’s been designed to tug at the heartstrings of classic British sports car fans with a muscular stance and retro design.
- Technical specs for this car are a bit thin on the ground.
- But range-topping versions are expected to get around 530hp and be able to do 0-60mph in under 3.0 seconds.
New Renault 5
- Renault will revive an icon in 2024 with the new 5 EV coming in February next year.
- The retro styling is very similar to the classic hatchback of the 1080s although you can expect it to be a lot bigger than that car.
- Powering this new EV is a 52kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor and it’ll have almost 250 miles of range.
- The shape of this car also inspired the new Alpine A290_ß concept an electric hot hatch with two motors.
New Cupra Tavascan
- This is the new Cupra Tavascan the second all-electric model to come from the SEAT spin-off brand.
- It may be the same as the Volkswagen ID5 under the skin but it looks a lot more sporty than that car.
- This theme continues on the inside.
- You may recognise the 15.0-inch infotainment system from other Volkswagen models.
- But the rest of the cabin is much more outlandish than anything you’ve seen from Cupra’s German parent company.
- Range-topping versions of the Tavascan will have dual-motors with 340hp the same as the recently-revised Skoda Enyaq vRS.
- It also uses the same 77kWh battery as that car, giving it 321 miles of range.
New Tesla compact EV
- After years of speculation Tesla might be pulling the covers off the new compact electric hatchback in 2024.
- While this hasn’t been confirmed just yet Elon Musk has hinted at a reveal for this car in multiple presentations throughout 2023.
- You can see it has a swoopy shape with a few design elements taken from the Cybertruck.
- Although a concept version of this car could be revealed this year you’ll probably have to wait until at least 2025 to get your hands on one.
- The new Lamborghini Revuelto is finally here and this replacement for the Aventador is still packing a naturally-aspirated V12 engine.
- It works together with three electric motors making a combined 1,015hp.
- The styling is just as bonkers as the Aventador’s with a few styling touches taken from limited-run models.
- The black air intake down the side looks just like the Sian’s for example as do the three-pointed headlights.
- The roof shape also mimics that of the Lamborghini Centenario.
- It’s not all crazy power and mad styling though this new Lambo flagship is meant to be easier to live with than the Aventador.
- It has more head and legroom than that car, as well as an all-new touchscreen infotainment system.
New Skoda Kodiaq
- The new Skoda Kodiaq is here and it’ll go on sale in 2024.
- This family-friendly seven-seater will get a plug-in hybrid system for the first time.
- It’ll use a 1.5-litre petrol engine and will have over 62 miles of pure-electric range.
- Other engines include a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 150hp as well as a 2.0-litre diesel with 204hp and all-wheel-drive.
- Styling changes are pretty subtle with this new Kodia retaining similar proportions to the outgoing car.
- It does look more modern though with sleek split-level headlights and a full-width light bar at the rear.
New Toyota C-HR
- Toyota’s space-aged small SUV has now entered its second generation and the styling has gotten even more bonkers.
- It has a new angular design, inspired by the latest Toyota Prius.

- Stepping inside the new C-HR has a driver-focussed cabin with a 12.3-inch digital-driver’s display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen.
- Expect this new SUV to go on sale by the end of the year.

- It now comes with a much boxier and retro design than before while there’s lots of robust elements.

New Skoda Superb
